Ashoka University’s InfoEdge Centre for Entrepreneurship is the creative hub that fosters the entrepreneurial endeavours of all Ashokans – students, fellows, faculty members & founders. The InfoEdge Centre for Entrepreneurship helps students turn their dreams into viable business ventures. The centre encourages a culture of innovation on the campus through various activities & campaigns under the guidance of some of India’s most successful entrepreneurs. Students are guided through each step of setting up a new business like inspiration, ideation, incubation, monetisation & internationalisation.
The InfoEdge Centre for Entrepreneurship provides students with opportunities to turn their ideas into successful business ventures. Students get guidance through industry experts from different sectors along with hands-on experience of pitching ideas, building networks & collaborating.
The University provides a unique blend of Liberal Arts, Sciences & Entrepreneurship education through an interdisciplinary method of learning. The Centre provides academic knowledge & skills important for the creation of successful startups through the Entrepreneurial Leadership & Strategy minor. The programme guides future leaders, changemakers & venture founders to establish new businesses. The Centre also encourages students to take up Individual Studies & explore a Summer Abroad in partner & other international institutions.
The Centre supports entrepreneurs by giving them the opportunity to make the most of the Ashoka ecosystem. The Entrepreneur in Residence programme is a five-month long incubation programme designed to help entrepreneurs from the Ashoka Community. The Entrepreneurs in Residence get an opportunity to stay on campus while working on their entrepreneurial idea under industry mentors. They also receive a generous stipend along with access to top-notch content on venture development & business planning.
The InfoEdge Centre for Entrepreneurship co-working space being the hub of all activity in the centre is the place where students ideate, discuss, debate, learn from, get mentored and advised by peers, professors, entrepreneurs, industry veterans and other professionals. It is also the place in which some of the centre’s most prestigious events like Start-up Ashoka and Ashoka Pillar Award are organised.
